Did you really design everything here?
With minor exceptions, everything from the website and page graphics to the designs presented are all hand-designed by me!
How do you design your products?
As any engineer will know, the lifeblood of any good design is prototyping: Build, Test, and Build again. Every design I create goes through multiple small iterations with each one focusing on specific aspects of the design, the goal to rapidly produce as many focused prototypes as possible. By the time I end at a final product, I can have anywhere from 3 to 15 different iterations to achieve a satisfactory design.
What's your background?
In late 2019 at the very beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I graduated from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering which marked the start of my professional interest in the design and manufacturing of functional products.
Following my graduation, I continued my studies to achieve a higher degree, resulting in a master’s degree in mechanical & aerospace engineering from the University of California, Davis in 2022.
After the completion of my graduate degree, I spent two years working at a large international machine tool manufacturing company where I further learned and honed my ability to design items to solve specific problems.
